I downloaded this easy to follow system last night, hooked it up, immediately got a signal and placed a couple of trades. So far it looks great… as I’m already up about 80 pips! Of course, only time will tell how these trades pan out, but I’m impressed so far.
Let me tell you a little about the Trend Shadow trading system…
1. This is a trend following system that works on the 1 Hour or 4 Hour charts.
2. Using higher time frames means higher stop losses. But all this means is you should calculate your lot size and make sure you are not risking too much on each trade. A lot of traders with modest balances think they can not trade higher time frames. This is just not true… it is only a matter of proper money management. By the way, on the same download page there is a money management file you can use to calculate proper lot size.
3. If you are an active trader that likes to make tons of trades every day, these type of systems are not for you. On higher time frames, you need to have patience to wait for the proper entry signal. Sometimes you may have to wait days or longer. But the good part is, once you get the signal the trade can run for long periods of time as well… for LOTS of pips!
Frankly, John could charge for this trading system… but you can get it for free. These type of Forex trading systems are really great for traders who want to profit from the currency market but don’t have a lot of time to trade. You can quickly check your charts, see if there is a trade or manage a trade you have on and then get back to your lives. I’ve been gravitating to this style of trading and have been happy so far.
