For busy Forex traders, managing the trade after it is placed can be a challenge.  Once you find the perfect set up and place the trade, you don’t really know how long it is going to take to play out… and sometimes you just can’t sit in front of the computer.  That is where the Forex Trading Troll comes in handy.

As Forex traders, we sometimes spend so much time learning when to place the trade, that we completely fall apart once we do.  We figure the “perfect” entry point by careful analysis, well thought out systems and expert planning.  But once the trade is live, we let emotion guide our every decision!

• Should I take my small profit now?
• Should I move my stop up?
• Should I let profits run?
• Should I close out the trade before my stop gets hit?

These are all questions that run through out heads as we watch price action.  And the big problem is, since we have money on the line, we make decisions based on EMOTION. After all our careful planning BEFORE the trade… we manage the trade based on the emotions of fear and greed.

As most of you know I have been involved with Strignano’s Forex Signals for a couple of months now.  I really don’t trade any other way as this fits my style and personality.  But I wanted to make things easier on myself, so I had an Expert Advisor built to help me manage my open trades. It is called Forex Trading Troll.

You see, Strignano’s service is much more than just Forex Signals.  It is more of a mentoring program where he shares some of his most powerful price-action trading methods.  This means there are a lot of trading opportunities.  But basically, Tom is teaching you to be a real Forex trader, so you have to make decisions and manage your trades.  I didn’t want to be stuck in front of my charts, so I needed a way to manage my trades on autopilot.

What do I mean by “managing a trade”?

At certain points during the trade, I want to reduce risk, eliminate risk and lock in profit by moving my stop loss and taking partial profits along the way. This both protects my capital and puts profit in my trading account.  (Tom Strignano calculates important levels and I use these to make decisions about which levels to perform which actions).  So basically, once I enter a trade manually into my Metatrader4 platform, I can set up the Troll to manage the trade by moving stops and taking partial profits at levels I decide.

I had originally planned on just using the Troll for my own trading.  But when I started showing my trades on the Strignano Forex Trading Blog, many traders started to ask for it.  So, I decided to make it available. And here is the good news… you can use it to manage your trades with any manual trading system as long as you use Metatrader4.

If you are using a manual trading system and place your trades on Metatrader4, you can use the Troll to manage your trades afterward.  This is a great tool to free up time and stop missing out on opportunities to move your stop and take partial profits.
